I remember sitting in 9th grade homeroom with my friend Jeff and talking about what we wanted to be when we grew up . . . he told me he wanted to be a dentist. I have no idea what I said I wanted to be (I'm pretty sure it wasn't HR consultant/cookie baker/mom but I digress), but he knew from early on exactly what he wanted to do, and he did it!. Now he is a great pediatric dentist, one that takes fabulous care of my kids . . . and makes it worth a long drive to his office! Today was our semi-annual visit, and I decided to surprise him and his staff with some tooth and toothbrush cookies. I bought these cutters a few months ago just for this purpose, and I love how they turned out.
Jeff's wife is also a dentist, and they have three kids. I figured a family with two dentists would enjoy personalized toothbrush cookies, so I made a little set of them for him to take home.
Jeff has been a huge supporter of my 3 Day walks - not only through donations, but also by joining us for part of the route each year as we walk through his DC neighborhood. This little gift is a token of my appreciation for a friendship that has spanned almost 30 years and his ongoing support. It means a lot.
