Hungry Caterpillar cookies

My son's former preschool teacher is now a kindergarten assistant at a nearby elementary school.  She asked me to make some cookies based on Eric Carles's Very Hungry Caterpillar to share with parents at Back to School night.   That was one of my boys' favorite books of all time!  It was fun to make these little critters . . . hope the parents like them!

Thank you for the donation, Christy!

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Fall is my favorite time of year!  These cool evenings and humidity free days have really put me in the mood for pumpkins and fall leaves!    Two orders this week gave me the perfect opportunity get into full "fall mode".

The first platter shown above is a platter of fall leaf cookies for a friend in the landscaping business to give to a good customer.  Thanks for the donation, Terri!

The second plattes is for a family friend, featuring fall leaf cookies and lemon and chocolate raspberry cake bites.  Hope the book club likes them!  Thank you for the donation, Nickie!

Baby shower onesie cookies

I loved the opportunity to make these baby shower cookies for a sweet co-worker who is expecting her baby girl any time now!   I brought this platter of onesies and "M" monogram cookies to our surprise shower in the office this afternoon!

Can't wait to meet baby Mackenzie . . . and I know you are going to be a great mom, Meredith!

Sweet sixteen birthday cookies

Made these cookies for a friend whose daughter turned 16 last week.  She took the cookies to share with her friends on the field hockey team after a game.

Happy Birthday Katie . . . and thank you for the donation, Margaret!

80th birthday cookies

A high school friend of mine has been planning her dad's 80th birthday party for months.  She's so excited about celebrating her dear father and all of the things that are special to him:  his favorite foods, the Irish music he loves, and friends and family from near and far.    She asked me to make some cookies to represent some of his favorite things, so I made platters featuring Ohio State cookies (in the shape of the state of Ohio!) and shamrocks.

Thank you for the donation, Diana!  And I hope your dad has a GREAT party!
